2/10

5.3 today at 9:56 today and made myself take a rest day yesterday. My throat feels like I've been eating glass.

    I can't believe I was running in a long sleeve shirt and capris outside in 50 degrees on February 11th. I did a bit more than 5 miles, much slower than 3 months ago, and walked for a minute after 4.2 miles...all very frustrating. But I am trying to be happy that I went further than I have in a long time and I was outside (and almost hot while running)!

  2. Susie, that is so awesome!! Congratulations on the increased mileage--I've always heard that you can increase speed or you can increase distance, but you can't do them simultaneously. So just remember that increasing distance is great and the speed will come back!
