So I have another question. What do you do while running? I think you said you read. I've tried that but 1, i can't run very fast while trying to focus on the book and 2, I can't hold the book open. I can watch something on the computer but there's never anything worth watching. I don't have this problem outside because there are so many things to look at but I can't seem to focus while on the treadmill very well. Tips?
Adrienne, my treadmill has a big place to rest the book, and it's up really high, so I can easily see it. I can't run much faster than about an 8:00 mile before I just can't focus on the page. I think this depends a lot on your treadmill--it's really hard for me to read on my parents' treadmill. And I started off pretty slow and just got used to reading as my speed increased.
AS far as holding the book open, the easiest ones to do it with are big hardbacks. I also clip my treadmill key onto the pages sometimes to hold it open.
